What does a professional furnace cleaning include?
We clean the blower wheel and motor housing, the burners and burner compartment, the accessible heat exchanger surfaces, the furnace cabinet, and the return drop where most of the dust collects. We also check the filter and show you what came out before we pack up.
How much does furnace cleaning cost in Central Illinois?

Why does my furnace smell like dust when it first turns on?
That burnt-dust smell is usually dust that settled on the heat exchanger and blower over the summer burning off. A thorough cleaning before heating season removes it. If the smell is more like gas or a persistent burning odor, shut the system down and call an HVAC technician immediately.
Does a clean furnace lower heating bills?
A dirty blower wheel and clogged return restrict airflow, which makes the furnace run longer to reach the same temperature. Cleaning restores airflow. We won't promise a specific dollar savings — every home and system is different.
